How It Works
The Savings Incentive Bonus Program
After you pay off your loan, you may be eligible to receive a savings incentive bonus
equal to 10% of your original loan amount.
For example, if your loan was $1500, you will receive a $150 bonus.
Follow the steps below to apply for your Savings Incentive Bonus today!
Step 1: Confirm Eligibility
In order to receive a Savings Incentive bonus you must:
- first, pay off your Impact Loan in full within 15 months of your first payment
- still be employed by Marine CU when you apply for your bonus
- apply and receive your bonus prior to applying for a second loan
Step 2: Save 10% and Submit Application
Save at least 10% of your original loan amount into a savings account.
For example, if you paid back a $2000 loan, you will need to save at least $200 in order to apply.
If you don’t have a savings account, we invite you to open one with us at Marine CU.
Once saved, complete the form below to submit your Savings Incentive Application.
NOTE: This must be completed within 90 days of paying off your loan.
Step 3: Initiate your Zelle account
We disburse your bonus through Zelle. All you need is your personal email or phone number to get set up.
Once approved, you will receive an email from Zelle with directions on how to receive your bonus. Don’t forget to check your junk email!
Step 4: Receive Your Bonus
Once your Zelle account is set up, we will disburse your Savings Incentive Bonus equal to 10% of your original loan amount.

This is the first major step toward financial well-being. If you have completed Step 1 and 2 as outlined on the Savings Incentive Program page, you may now submit your Savings Incentive Application.
